Terms of service
These terms govern your use of the Ability Bazaar website and services. Last updated 7 July 2026.
1. Who we are
Ability Bazaar is an initiative of Vision-Aid (www.visionaid.org), a non-profit organization. "We", "us" and "our" refer to Vision-Aid and its Ability Bazaar program. By using this website or ordering our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Our intellectual property
The Ability Bazaar™ name, logo, and marks are trademarks of Vision-Aid. All content on this website — text, graphics, logos, images, page designs, and underlying software — is the property of Vision-Aid and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
- You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or create derivative works from this website's content, branding, or software without our prior written permission.
- You may not use the Ability Bazaar name or logo, or any confusingly similar name or mark, in connection with any product or service.
- Limited quotation with attribution (for example, in press coverage) is welcome.
To request permission, write to info@visionaid.org.
3. Our services
Ability Bazaar offers digital accessibility services (including AI-assisted accessibility scans verified by professionals with disabilities) and custom application development. Deliverables we produce for you under a paid engagement are yours to use once paid for, except that the tools, methods, templates, and know-how we use to produce them remain ours.
4. Orders, payment and refunds
- Prices for self-serve scans are shown on the order page before payment. Payment is processed by PayPal; your card or account details never touch our servers.
- If we cannot deliver a purchased scan (for example, your site cannot be reached), we will work with you to resolve it or refund the order in full.
- If you are unsatisfied with a deliverable, contact us within 14 days and we will re-work it or refund you.
5. Acceptable use
- Only request scans of websites you own or are authorized to have tested.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to this website or its infrastructure.
- Do not use our AI features to generate unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
6. Reports and no-warranty of compliance
Our accessibility reports reflect a good-faith expert assessment at a point in time. They identify issues and recommend remediation; they are not a legal certification of compliance with the ADA, Section 508, the European Accessibility Act, or any other law, and do not constitute legal advice.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vision-Aid's total liability arising out of any order or use of this website is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Privacy
We collect only what we need to deliver services: contact details you submit, order details, and the results of scans you commission. We do not sell your data. Payment is handled entirely by PayPal. Inquiry and order records are stored securely on Google Cloud. To have your data removed, email info@visionaid.org.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above will change when we do. Questions? Contact info@visionaid.org.
